Our Symbolism

At the heart of everything stands our Juniper Tree and Moon

The Juniper and Moon

The Juniper Tree

The juniper is a native elder of the high desert — resilient, wise, and shaped by the elements. Instead of growing fast, it grows true, conserving energy and adapting with grace. For centuries, juniper has been used as a symbol of:

  • Resilience and endurance – thriving without rushing or forcing

  • Grounding and protection – a guardian plant used for clearing and purification

  • Deep roots and slow growth – a reminder that strength comes from within, not from pushing harder

  • Authentic, embodied wisdom – each twist of the trunk telling the story of meeting life with presence, not pressure to perform

The juniper reflects the way we practice here: not striving, but unwinding. Not performance, but presence. Not hustle, but deep, grounded health.

The Cresent Moon

The moon represents rhythm, intuition, and the cyclical nature of healing. In her crescent phase, she symbolizes:

  • New beginnings and subtle expansion

  • Soft growth rather than forceful effort

  • Trusting your inner timing

  • Listening inward instead of chasing outward

Operating subtly behind the scenes, the moon reminds us that everything moves in phases — energy rises and falls, clarity comes and goes, growth happens in curves, not straight lines. She invites us to honor the quieter parts of the journey.

Together: a Symbol of “Less is More”

The juniper and moon together embody the essence of Health Not Hustle:

Less pushing. More pausing.
Less grinding. More grounding.
Less tension. More intention.

This symbol reflects the space we create: a place to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and strengthen your wellbeing in a way that feels natural, sustainable, and deeply supportive.

The ARtist - Kelsey Koprowski

Kelsey, a Linescape Artist local to Moab, is a woman who enjoys making art and being outdoors. Her work is a reflection of those two passions combined. Strong yet feminine, much like Kelsey herself, the art that unfolds under her hand evokes the deep emotions the desert has to offer.

You can find her art locally at Moab Made Gallery and Tumbleweed Gallery in Moab, UT.

The Dessicated Juniper

Kelsey’s original “Desiccated Juniper 2” hangs in our main office and served as the inspiration to guide Health Not Hustle’s essence to be reflected in art the way it is today. Honoring the land in which we live upon, the history of the spirits who walked it before we arrived, and how beauty can live both in what’s dying to be born, and what’s dying to be born.
